Elevate your workspace to work for you

What is Ergonomics?

Ergonomics is the study of fitting workplace conditions to the population with emphasis on efficiency and safety. Fitting the job to the worker.

We focus on work positioning as that set-up amounts to the majority of our waking day. Have you ever felt tightness or fatigue by the end of your workday? Or maybe you notice your posture has been harder to maintain? This is all very common. Musculoskeletal disorders (MSD’s) or repetitive strain disorders make up 30% or more of workers compensation costs.

What can Ergonomics do for you?

Reduce pain:

Over time awkward positions, repetitive movements, sub-optimal positioning can negatively impact your muscles, joints, and nerves. Modifying positions and adjusting your workstation and/or habits will support improved posture, leading to increased efficiency, productivity, and elevated focus on work tasks with reduced pain.

Improve productivity:

By adjusting habits and optimizing the alignment in your joints for prolonged periods during the day you can focus on tasks that will increase your efficiency and productivity, instead of feeling the effects of fatigue or discomfort.

Improve quality of work:

Proper ergonomics will ensure you are using the most effective tools and devices to complete your job efficiently and optimally.

Improve mental clarity:

Proper positioning can improve your mental clarity by helping to reduce stress, improve blood flow, and strengthen muscles to maintain optimal positions.
